Sam Rollinson's London
14 September 2018
To celebrate London Fashion Week we asked top British model, Sam Rollinson to share her favourite haunts of the capital. From where to find the best Sunday brunch to weird and wonderful cocktails at happy hour, this is the ultimate little black book guide to London.
Best for Sunday brunch:
The Riding House Cafe (above), I love the Lobster Benedict.
Best for a caffeine fix:
I don’t drink coffee, but I am partial to a chai latte from Pret A Manger.
Best for hanging out with friends:
The Groucho Club in Soho. I've been a member for a few years now and it's become my favourite place to hang out and have a few drinks.
Best for a workout:
I really like going to the Barrecore studios (above) that are dotted all over the city, it makes it so easy to drop in to a class no matter which part of London you're in at the time. It looks quite easy but it's deceiving and makes for a really good workout.
Best for cocktails:
The Experimental Cocktail Club in Chinatown. It has a cool speakeasy vibe and is really atmospheric and dark inside. I love sitting on the velvet pouffes and trying the weird and wonderful cocktails.
Best for a special occasion:
Bob Bob Ricard (pictured above). It’s just the dream, the setting is like being in the 1920s on the Orient Express. They have a champagne button that you can press and the waiters bring it over to your table. The food is also amazing – the baked oysters are unreal.
Best for escaping the city:
My garden! I’m very lucky to have my own little patch of green space in London and I love sitting outside on a summer evening with a good book or playlist.
