Easily rolled out, no creases. Rubber backed so stays in place on top of carpet. Nice soft pile. Thought it may smell for a bit given the rubber backing but no smell. Haven't tested the stain proofing or washability yet but delighted with the rug, excellent price for good looking rug. Highly recommend.
