LATE AFTERNOON Oro Brown Glass Tumbler

Mouth-blown brown tumblers from the beautiful Balearic Islands. Set in the foothills of a national park mountain range, the studio’s work invokes the crystalline waters of the nearby sea. Glass is heated to 1200 degrees so it becomes molten, before being blown, tweaked and twirled into shape. Once formed, the piece is left to cool down in an oven of 650 degrees, before eventually acclimatising to room temperature. Perfectly sized for cocktails or indeed, pepping up a humble glass of water. We use ours every day because they make us feel completely fabulous. An incredible gift for someone else… or for yourself.
