Handmade from 100% wool, the Massimo rug is designed by La Redoute Intérieurs. Its textured finish reveals a graphic, contemporary pattern directly inspired by the seventies. Product Details: 100% wool, 2500 g/m², pile height 0.5 cm, handmade weaving, compatible with underfloor heating, for interior use only, not for outdoor use, graphic decor with a textured finish, artisanal craftsmanship. Quality: Wool is a warm and comfortable fibre and an excellent thermal and sound insulator. Hand-braided, each piece is unique and may have small irregularities which make it authentic; colours and dimensions may vary slightly. Care information: Once unrolled, wait a few days for the carpet to return to its initial shape. To keep the edges flat, roll the mat in the opposite direction, leave it for an hour, then put it back flat and place a heavy object on it for 2 days. New carpets may give off an odour that dissipates over time; ventilate your room regularly. To preserve its appearance, rotate the rug regularly in one direction or the other to minimise localised wear in the same places and reduce colour loss due to light exposure. Care instructions: Some materials, such as wool, are very fibrous. Wool rugs pill naturally during the first few months; this is normal because the carpet “bursts” by releasing excess fibres. Remove the fluff by hand as much as possible and do not use a vacuum cleaner in brushing mode, as this can pull and tear the fibres. The pilling will improve over time. For maintenance, vacuum very little during the first month, then vacuum gently without rubbing, always without using the brush. The rug is not compatible with robot vacuum cleaners.
