Polyester provides a soft touch, and once unrolled the rug may need a few days to return to its original shape; rolling it in the opposite direction and placing a heavy object on top for two days helps flatten the edges. A new rug may release a temporary odour that fades with ventilation. To preserve its print, rotate it regularly to minimise localised wear and reduce colour loss from light exposure. Vacuuming should be done regularly, and the rug is compatible with robot vacuum cleaners. For stains, dab immediately with an absorbent tissue or damp cloth, and for larger or deeper marks, professional cleaning is recommended.
