Those familiar with her creative process understand Marie's affinity for working by hand. She previously expressed that shaping with plaster and paper-mâché offered a meditative experience due to the repetitive character of the actions. Consequently, transitioning to ceramics was a natural progression. The simple cylinders feature an irregular shape, a true testament to their artisanship.
