The colour changing LED light is operated by USB cable and the colour can be changed using the control pad on the wire. The selectable colour options available are Red, Green, Blue, Pink, Yellow, Light Blue, White. These can be set to change constantly or have one specific colour. You can also control the brightness. 80% Acrylic, 20% Wood.
