I haven't worn this jacket yet as it is for my birthday very soon but will be warm as it is much heavier weight than my others for this time of winter (January) and icy conditions. Hood is huge so will be great over hats too. It is for dog walking so plenty pockets but could have done with a mobile insert pocket - the lining pocket inside would not take the weight of a mobile.
