At your chosen location you’ll receive one-to-one tuition from a Civil Aviation Authority-licensed instructor, meaning you’ll have expert guidance in getting to grips with the controls during every moment in the air. You’ll have unbeatable views across the surrounding area, but we don’t blame you if you want to stay focussed on the world ahead of your windscreen as you’re thousands of feet above the ground! What you’ll learn will depend on your chosen location, but all of your flying time will still count towards a Private Pilot’s Licence should you be a budding flying hobbyist and planning to take to the skies again. Exhilarating, awe-inspiring and breath-taking all at once, this is an experience you’ll want to try again as soon as it’s over! Minimum age: 12 (14 at Stapleford) Under 18s need parental/guardian consent Minimum height: 4ft 10in Maximum height: 6ft 4in Maximum weight: 12 to 18 stone depending on the location Participants should be in reasonable health and agile enough to climb into the aircraft. Flying lessons take place all year round and are normally available on any day of the week. We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability. You should allow 1 hour for your whole experience, but the flight (from taxi to landing) will last approximately 25 to 30 minutes.
