Lovely quality for my daughter. However I’d like to add my daughter is 5ft 2, and she is 10 years old. I had to buy age 16. The skirts for her age are so short on her, and the waist is just not big enough. This did fit however and the quality is as expected. It is quite expensive though. A supermarket equivalent would be no more that £8/£9 pounds x

Length is something that seems to over looked when it comes to sizing height needs to be looked into also for a better fit well done next

These longer length skirts are an absolute godsend and incredibly well made. My daughter is only 7 but usually wears age 10-11 because she’s so tall. However I usually can’t just size up for things like skirts as the waists are then so big they just fall off her. I ordered age 9 and the band is wide and comfortable enough to have a little extra grow room and these skirts fit just on the knee. Anyone with taller girls will know skirt length is a nightmare to shop for. Great job Next for creating options for taller children. Would also be fantastic if you added this option to your other kids clothes outside of the school uniform line.
They’re fantastic quality too, nice thick jersey material that hangs nicely, washes well and doesn’t need ironing (bonus!!). I ordered these in grey and black for her school uniform and orchestra uniform and both colours are of the same quality.
