How to store Christmas kitchenware If you use extra special dinnerware, cutlery and glasses during the festive season, you’ll need to store them correctly to prevent any cracks or chips. • Glasses: Wrap glasses in bubble wrap or tissue paper, then place them in a plastic box, ideally with built-in dividers. Pack bubble wrap into any empty space if you don't have dividers. • Plates: Look for a cylindrical storage box with rigid edges. Stack the plates, placing bubble wrap between each one. • Cutlery: When silverware rubs against each other, it can become dull. So, if you have a luxurious cutlery set, it’s worth wrapping the pieces individually in tissue paper or bubble wrap. You can then store them all in a labelled plastic box.
