When applying the lip butter, it feels sort of bumpy, almost like it's a lip polish rather than a lip mask. Definitely throws me off every time I apply, but that feeling goes away once it melts onto your lips. Once the butter melts onto your lips, it feels super nice. Your lips feel even softer the next morning. Originally posted on www.origins.co.uk

I was excited about seeing this in the store but should have tried it or read reviews. It's almost like a scrub going on. It does soften eventually but then dries out. Will not purchase again. Originally posted on www.origins.co.uk

Not sure if it is supposed to be a bit gritty, but it seems to soften up once in…. Originally posted on www.origins.co.

Upon first applying, it's grainy and rather unpleasant. The sensation is that something (like tissue fibers or dust) is in the butter. As has been mentioned previously, once the butter warms up to body temperature, the graininess goes away. Regardless, I won't purchase again. Originally posted on www.origins.co.uk

I was happy to find this, as I had a lip mask from another brand that I loved, but it was discontinued. I have to be careful what I use, because my lips are sensitive and will break out in tiny bubbles and later peel with most lipsticks. This sounded natural, so I thought it would be a go. As other reviewers have mentioned, it's grainy, which is weird. And while it doesn't make my lips break out, it does dry them out and irritate them - again, as many others have mentioned. Not sure what the offending ingredient(s) is, but I have 95% of the little tub left and no use for it, which is a bummer. Originally posted on www.origins.co.uk
