I bought this a couple weeks ago and unsure if I will repurchase. Skin becomes irritated at first but this eventually dissipates. I accidentally got some on my lips and they immediately went numb, which was highly concerning. Makes me think there is something in here to which I have an allergy. Started using this when my acne cleared up and my skin was looking better. It made my skin worse, my pores look huge and i got new pimples, it dries out my skin, makes it itchy and makes it look less plump. It feels like it kind of messed up my skin barrier after i worked so hard to improve it. Nothing else changed in mt skin routine except for this product. So upset. I have been using "Buffet" in my regimen for a year or so now. Honestly, I never noticed it doing much of anything for targeting concerns but it never did anything bad and I liked the slightly tacky texture under my moisturizer, so I kept buying and using. My most recent bottle has me wondering what is happening. Not only is the product incredibly expensive for what started out as a brand for good ingredients at an accessible price point, it now irritates my skin. I don't have sensitive skin. But this newest bottle has been causing extreme dryness and inflammation around my nose and mouth. To the point of pain. I have done so much work to repair my skin barrier and I feel so betrayed by this product. I plan to return it, and not buy any more Deciem products. I can get similar products for less money, or pay a little more for something much better. Not worth it. Such a shame. An additional thought- the dropper caps on these bottles are awful. The texture rips the skin on my fingers to shreds when I open them. I have to put a towel or my shirt on top of it before opening to protect my hands. Overall I think this brand has gone way downhill, don't know what they're doing anymore, and don't realize that if you keep raising prices and giving worse for more, people do recognize they have other options. the price of this product has gone up 15% in the last few months (was $35.90 in nov, now $41.40 in feb) ? i also, like others, have noticed it's efficacy isn't what it once was. i will be skipping this product now. Originally posted on www.theordinary.com

I have been using buffet for a few years it helped my dryness, minimised spots, brightened my skin. I could put it on at night and in the morning I could tell my skin had improved. This new stuff does nothing I'm so disappointed they changed something so good. Bring back buffet! Originally posted on www.theordinary.com
