Let me start by saying that I just LOVE the ginger body wash, scrub, and ginger lotion. I am very new to Origins products and never knew the "old" version of the perfume as many reviewers mentioned. I took a chance on the Ginger Essence perfume, hoping for that same fresh ginger scent as the ginger souffle lotion and body wash. Unfortunately, the perfume does not smell like ginger or even the essence of ginger. It reminds me of the perfume "Beautiful" by Estee Lauder. I had very high hopes, but I will be returning it.
