Pick the right jeans for your body shape

You can own piles of the most stylish clothing in the world, but if they don’t fit you properly, your entire look is going to be thrown off. When it comes to jeans, the most important thing to get right is to pick the right pair for your body shape. So, without further ado, here is our simple guide to make sure you’re never compromising your personal style.

If you’re slim, you’re going to want to accentuate what you have by flattering your body shape, so pick a skinny or slim fit and steer clear of looser styles to avoid swamping your body. Balance out the slimmer jeans with a looser knit or sweatshirt to keep everything in proportion.
If you’re on the muscular side, we appreciate that you’re going to want to show off your gym work, but there’s a very fine line that you absolutely do not want to cross. Picking something super skinny is going to do you no favours, so opt for either a normal skinny or a slim fit that has a bit of stretch in it. Our best advice? Taller gentlemen can often find it hard to pick the right jeans, but again opting for a darker blue or black is a brilliant way to keep your outfit in proportion. If you’ve been blessed in the height department, you’re going to want to avoid anything either too slim or too loose – neither of which are going to flatter you.
