Numbers, clock face and hands are all the same colour, this isn’t clear on the online picture. Cannot see the time unless viewing from the side when the sun is in the right position I have had to paint the numbers and hands

The clock didn't look like the picture in the book .. the numbers are black not bronze like the picture

I think this is a lovely clock, and it suits my room lovely and looks very stylish. However, the hands should be more prominently coloured in the burnished gold colour, they are very dark currently and match the background too much obscuring the ability to actually tell the time. This is the only reason for giving four stars. It is a bit pricey for what it is and it wasn’t available in the sale!
