Social Media Giveaway Terms and Conditions

This giveaway is brought to you by Cath Kidston, registered at Desford Road, Enderby, Leicester, United Kingdom, LE19 4AT, England and Moonpig, registered at Herbal House, 10 Back Hill, London, England, EC1R 5EN

The Giveaway: 

The giveaway will run from 09:00 on 18th May 2025 until 23:59 on 25th May 2025. By entering this giveaway, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”). The details of the giveaway form part of these T&Cs. You should print and retain a copy of these T&Cs for reference. Any breach of these T&Cs may result in a prize being forfeited at Cath Kidston’s sole discretion. 

To participate in this giveaway, entrants must not be Cath Kidston employees, third parties involved in the giveaway (including third-party prize donors), their families, agents or anyone else in any way professionally connected with this giveaway, and must meet the following requirements (the “Eligibility Criteria”):
Reside in the United Kingdom; and
Be at least 18 years of age or older

To qualify as a winning entrant, you must:

Eligibility: 

 

Every person who meets the Eligibility Criteria (“entrant”) shall be entered into the giveaway during the giveaway period (entries will not be deemed complete unless all of the Eligibility Criteria applies). Cath Kidston may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the giveaway

The giveaway must be entered in the entrant’s own name; it may not be entered on behalf of anyone else. If a false name is used, that entry will be disqualified. Only one entry is permitted per person.
 

The Prize:

 

There will be 1 winner who will win a prize of:

- 4 tickets available to The Paddington Bear™ Experience to be used before the 31st December 2025. 
- Bundle of Cath Kidston X Paddington™ product 
-1 x Large Collector Paddington Bear

There are no cash alternatives to the prize, and the prize is non-refundable and non-transferable. The prize can only be redeemed by the winner (and not by a third party) and must not be sold on. 

The Prize:

a. is valid for 2 months and can be redeemed by contacting Cath Kidston Instagram account. All products subject to availability and while stocks last. 
b. The Paddington Bear™ Experience to be used before the 31st December 2025. Tickets are strictly subject to availability and bound by our standard terms and conditions which can be found here: Terms And Conditions | Paddington Bear™ Experience. Tickets must be booked in advance of visiting by contacting boxoffice.ldn@paddingtonbearexperience.com with details of the competition.

 

Winner Selection and Contacting the Winner:

 

The winners will be chosen by means of randomised electronic selection from all valid entrants received during the giveaway period. 

The giveaway will take place between 18th May-25th May 2025. 1 winner will be chosen at random by EOD Monday 26th May and contacted by the Cath Kidston instagram account. 

Cath Kidston will use reasonable efforts to notify the winner of the prize via Instagram DM no later than 26th May 2025. If after having made those efforts it is not possible to contact the winner, Cath Kidston reserves the right to offer the prize to the next valid entrant chosen by means of randomised electronic selection as described above. Any reselection will be undertaken in accordance with these T&Cs. 

Subject to applicable data protection laws, the winner’s surname and county of residence can be obtained for a period of one month after the end of the giveaway period by writing to Cath Kidston at the address set out in clause 1 above and stating the name and date of the giveaway.

Receiving the Prize:
 

Where the prize is capable of physical delivery, the prize will be posted to the winner’s postal address provided following successful notification of the prize.

Cath Kidston are not responsible for failure to deliver the prize should a postal address be provided incorrectly.
 

Use Of Personal Information And Publicity:

All entrants’ personal details will be used in accordance with these T&Cs and Cath Kidston’s privacy policy, which you can see online at https://www.next.co.uk/privacy

By entering this giveaway you:

Agree to be bound by these T&Cs;

Provided no objection is received and if you are a winner, you acknowledge that for Cath Kidston’s legitimate interests of promoting its business and this giveaway, Cath Kidston will wish to use your name, details and photographs/videos on any media for advertising and publicity purposes in relation to the giveaway and for any other reasonable promotional purpose without additional remuneration and Cath Kidston will wish to allow any Cath Kidston group company to use all such information for those same purposes whether on behalf of Cath Kidston or on their own behalf;

Acknowledge that any personal information provided by you with your entry may be held and used by Cath Kidston, a third-party prize donor or any agent appointed to assist Cath Kidston with running the giveaway, for the legitimate interest of the administration of this giveaway and, if you are a winner, the delivery of the prize, and you can if you so wish (this is a separate point) give your positive consent to opt-in to receive future marketing communications from Cath Kidston when so requested. Any personal information provided by you will be used in accordance with the Cath Kidston privacy policy, which you can see online at https://www.next.co.uk/privacy. The third-party prize donors will usually have their own privacy policies on their own websites and if they do they’ll use your personal information in accordance with those policies (not in accordance with the Cath Kidston privacy policy). This includes the delivery of the prize if you are a winner. By entering this giveaway, you acknowledge that, if you win, your name, address and email address will for legitimate interests be available to Cath Kidston and any third-party prize donor for the purpose of organising delivery of your prize (and if you so wish (as mentioned above) you can consent separately to Cath Kidston sending you future marketing communications).

In consideration of being awarded a prize, if you are a winner, you may be required by Cath Kidston for its legitimate interests to take part in publicity related to the subject of the giveaway, and you confirm that if you are a winner, you understand that you will be expected to take part in such publicity for those legitimate interests. Such publicity may include, without limitation, the use of your name, photograph (to be provided on request) and statements made by you concerning the giveaway and/or the prize. You now hereby grant to Cath Kidston an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free and non-exclusive right and licence to use the entry, including any photographs, images and other content of such entry, and any and all photographic, video and other content supplied to Cath Kidston or submitted by you or on your behalf as part of entering or otherwise in connection with this giveaway, on the Cath Kidston website, and throughout Cath Kidston’s social media channels for the purpose of promoting and marketing Cath Kidston and/or its business activities, and to sublicense the right to do the same to Cath Kidston’s wholesalers. This clause 23 is without prejudice to applicable data protection laws including your rights under those laws.

Limitation of Liability and Governing Law:

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cath Kidston, its representatives, agents, third-party prize donors, suppliers, distributors, officers, directors, employees and shareholders will not in any circumstances be liable or responsible for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage of whatever nature and howsoever arising, or for personal injury or death arising, as a result of your participation in the giveaway or the winner taking up the prize, except where injury or death is caused by Cath Kidston negligence. Your statutory rights are not affected.

In the event that the giveaway is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Cath Kidston that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this giveaway, Cath Kidston reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or does not comply with these T&Cs and to cancel, modify or suspend the giveaway or invalidate any affected entries.

Cath Kidston may refuse to award a prize in the event of any entrant’s fraud, dishonesty, breach or non-entitlement under these T&Cs or seek recovery of its value if the prize has been awarded.

Should an act, omission, event or circumstance occur which is beyond the reasonable control of Cath Kidston and which prevents Cath Kidston from complying with these T&Cs, Cath Kidston will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations.

If any provisions of these T&Cs are judged to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this will not affect or impact the continuation in full force and affect the remainder of the provisions.

In the event of a discrepancy between these T&Cs and the details in any promotional material, the details in these T&Cs will prevail. This giveaway, any dispute or claim arising out of or in conjunction with it, and the T&Cs shall be governed by English law, and the parties shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
