In August 2019, we were super excited to finally announce we were teaming up with luxury accessory line Hill & Friends
for an exclusive Label/Mix collection. Working with former Mulberry creative director Emma Hill - the Mix/Hill & Friends line
bought one of fashion’s favourite faces to an even wider audience.
Now with twelve iterations of our all-time favourite arm candy (and more on the way!), the Mix/Hill & Friends
collection continues to delight everyone with its signature smile.
"The collection, whilst heavy in Hill & Friends DNA, has its very own personality and is a wonderful addition to our
own collection, rather than being a less expensive copy of our existing bags," says Emma.
When creating their Label/Mix pieces, Hill & Friends set out to maximise some of the most distinctive brand
elements - like the smiley face logo - while subverting them and interpreting them in a very different way.

For the upcoming seasons, Hill & Friends are working on exciting new product
categories for the next Label/Mix collection.
Behind the brand : meet the co-founder
“My obsession with all things fashion began as a toddler. I
was utterly transfixed with Nana Nellie’s candy-colour
Emma went on to study an Art Foundation at Wimbledon School of Art before
graduating with a BA (Hons) Fashion Degree in Women’s ready-to-wear from the Ravensbourne
School of Design. In 1993, she moved to New York City where she would live for the next fourteen years,
working for Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs amongst others, before coming back to London
as the Creative Director for Mulberry from 2008-2014.
“I launched Hill & Friends in September 2015 with a bellboy/shetland pony-tastic London Fashion Week show,” recalls Emma,
“Our lightbulb ‘let’s do it!’ moment was our feeling there was a real gap in the market for a British-made,
artisan-meets-cool brand producing luxury products.”
