In 1963, Ben Sherman came back from America with the idea of making a shirt. Having noticed the button-down style worn by polo players of the time and inspired by his fathers work as a tailor, he set about creating his own, and in doing so, created an icon. From his humble origins to the present day, Ben Sherman continues to be inspired by a Heritage of Modernism.
