Ripped on first use, awaiting replacement pair. The eye of the waist string wasn't substantial for the pressure applied to tighten the waist a d it ripped a few inches along the waistband. Hopefully it was just a one-off, as the shorts are really nice and fit well. A bit pricey, so I would expect the new pair to live up to the cost. If not, I'll return.
