I purchased this item to be used in my daughters bedroom and she loves it. On the lowest setting it is quiet enough for her to have it on during the night and she especially likes the fact that it is remote controlled.

Excellent and powerful small fan. Love the remote control - very handy. Lovely design - fits well on my desk. Keeps you cool without blowing paperwork everywhere. Also useful in a bedroom at night (has a timer function to switch off after 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours) or in any room for that matter. And if you are a woman of a certain age it could be used all year round :-) That’s another reason to love the remote control - you can just give it a blast when you need it. Reviews on other websites have complained about the bright LED Lights but they switch off after about a minute. Also complaints about difficulty fitting the battery in the Remote Control - I found this very easy. One observation that’s not a complaint but may bother some people - on settings 1 & 2 it is very quiet bit it goes a bit loud on setting 3. However, setting 1 & 2 are lovely and cool not sure about when it gets hotter. Finally no set up or assembly required - comes ready to go out of the box.
