I've tried other Estee Lauder mascaras but I always come back to Sumptuous Extreme. All it takes is one coat for long, beautiful lashes. For evenings out I might apply two coats to kick up the volume. The mascara is also easy to remove. Originally posted on www.esteelauder.co.uk

Like some of the others, I bought this mascara after receiving it as a smaller, free sample a few times and each time gave the regular size another chance. I've become increasingly disappointed with the regular sized version, I agree with others who say it is too clumply and the brush too big, it also flakes for me and it dries out so quickly! I won't be re-ordering this and I've tried one other which I also was not too crazy about with the thinner brush.Too much comes out and it too is clumpy as well. This is my personal experience. I've used this mascara for years. But in the past year or two it's as if the formula has changed. So wet and lumpy and clumpy. Not at all as it used to be. I cannot use a lot of eye makeup due to allergies and this mascara did not cause any reaction, but it's no longer worth it when it gets everywhere. I will have to seek out another brand now.
