This light fitting is beautiful, however it should be made clear on the item description that it is very heavy and installation requires it to be screwed into a ceiling joist. Without a joist it will be very difficult to install, as we have recently found out after booking an electrician to install ours. The fitting is also bigger than a standard light fitting, we have ceiling roses which will probably need to be taken off and replaced now due to the wider fitting of the ceiling attachment. Hoping that we may still be able to get them fitted and not have to return them but I would definitely have been more cautious before purchasing had I known how tricky they would be to install.
