Front row kids
15 February 2018
This season's fashion week VIPs? It's the children, of course.
It's all about mixing smart and casual looks with effortless cool. Easy.
Charlotte Duck shows you how to steal their style
This Fashion Week, as well as the usual host of magazine editors, Instagram influencers and film stars, expect to see
pint-sized trendsetters on the front row too. Celebrities are turning the catwalk into a family affair, bringing along their
toddlers and teens to see the collections. We have the Beckhams to thank for this. Harper Beckham was only two when she
made her first front row appearance. Perched on daddy’s knee in front of her mother Victoria’s runway, she even managed to
coax a smile out of US Vogue Editor, Anna Wintour. Now, aged seven, Harper is a fashion week veteran as are her bothers,
Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz. The good news is, if you crave camera-ready style for your own little VIP, our new spring collections
will oblige. We're sure the Beckhams would approve.
SHOP BOYS' FROW STYLE
SHOP GIRLS' FROW STYLE
Fashion Week offers the perfect platform for any diminutive fashionista. Kate Moss’ lookalike daughter Lila Grace
gave rock chick a softer twist when she attended a London Fashion Week show last year with her mum and Vogue editor,
Edward Enninful, cleverly pairing a black leather jackets with relaxed checked trousers. So cool, laid-back and effortless.
Proving comfort is key, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter, North West, opted for a neutral hoodie that blended with
her mum's outfit, for the Yeezy show. The front row children may be little but don’t underestimate their power –
these kids are the style icons of the future.
