The Next look for children has been created with easy-fitting fashion clothes which allow room for growth. Widths, lengths and sleeve lengths are all generous, so don't automatically buy a size larger for your child without first referring to our body measurement charts on this page. When ordering, remember that age is just an approximation of size. The height of your child gives a much better indication of which size to buy.

Measurement Guide

Height

Without shoes, feet together standing flat on the ground, measure height level from top of head to the ground.

  1. Outside leg
    Measure from waist down outside leg to floor.
  2. Hips / Seat
    Measure around the fullest part of the seat.
  3. Waist
    Measure around natural waistline.
  4. Chest
    Place tape close up under arms, measure chest at fullest part.

1. Bra Size (underbust) Measuring in centimetres place the tape measure around your rib cage immediately under the bust. The tape should be held firmly, but not tightly so that you can breathe easily - see table above.
2. Cup Size (full bust) Measure the bust at the fullest part in centimetres. Use the chart as a guideline. If you fall between the sizes always go by your bra size (underbust measurement) and try either side for cup size - see table above.
